Event Fliers

Necessity breeds innovation. I’ve kind of always been a person who if I needed a thing, I’d just figure out a way to do it myself, even if I didn’t have the appropriate expertise at the moment. Back in the mid-2010’s, I decided to start an event series where I would showcase under the radar black musicians. Obscura was held at an anarchist community center in West Philly and later a dive bar in Brewerytown, - that being said, I was operating on a shoestring budget. I needed an event flier for Obsura, so I just made them myself. You can find the fliers for Obscura below as well as event fliers I shot and designed for DJ and musician John Morrison.
